During his address to a joint session of Congress Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for a NATO-like alliance in the Middle East. NATO is a military and political alliance between 32 European and North American countries established in 1949. 

Bibi suggested that the Alliance could be a 'natural extension' of the existing Abraham Accords. The Abraham Accords were brokered by President Donald Trump and negotiated by his Senior Advisor and Son-in-Law Jared Kushner. The deal is dedicated to establishing and maintaining peace between Israel and Arab Nations.

Thus the proposed Alliance would add a political and security framework to the existing peace deal.

To those familiar with Bible Prophecy what jumps out about this is that we could be witnessing a nascent framework for peace and security in the Middle East. Or, said another way, a treaty that, if inacted, would result in Peace and Safety.

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them... 1 Thessalonians 5:3

I have long thought that this Peace and Safety is not a generalization about the end times but a specific allusion to the Covenant the Antichrist makes with Israel in the last days:

And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. Daniel 9:27

I will not get into the weeds of this verse at the moment other than to say many Bible Scholars agree that this verse predicts that the Antichrist will broker a peace treaty with Israel that will allow religious Jews to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem. The Covenant will be ratified not for a literal week but for a week of years, meaning seven years (see also Revelation 6:2). But at the halfway point of this still-future Covenant the Antichrist will betray the Jewish people and seek to wipe them out. This event inaugurates the final three-and-a-half years before Christ returns to earth to establish his Millennial Kingdom (1,000 years). Yes this is a literal, Temporal Kingdom.

The point I am making right now is that we have a possible framework for peace and safety:

Abraham Accords - Peace!

Abraham Alliance - Safety!

Together: Peace and Safety!

Another point I wish to make is that many people spend a lot of time trying to identify who the Antichrist might be: From time to time I like to remind people that we have to have an alliance of 10 Kings before we can have the Antichrist. Why? Because the Kings give their power over to the Antichrist after he 'uproots' three of them, probably for rebellion.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things. Daniel 7:7-8

Also:

And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. Revelation 17:12-13

So Biblically the 10 Kings appear before the Antichrist does. Again I will not get into the weeds of who the 10 Kings might be here, but what is interesting is that Bibi's Abraham Alliance would create not just a Security framework backed military might, but also a Political one. Such an arrangement could involve 10 Countries and a Council comprised of, say, 10 Heads of State.

Before this happens though I believe there needs to be at least one more major war. A war big enough and scary enough to cause the whole earth to clamor for Peace and Safety. I'm talking a regional war that quickly escalates and spreads into other conflict zones around the earth (Israel-Iran, Russia-Ukraine, China-Taiwan). This would be World War III as nations alligned with one side or the other. There would be in all likelihood at least a limited nuclear exchange, a global economic collapse, international cyber warfare, and mass chaos throughout the nations. Such a war might only take a few days to transpire from start to finish. It wouldn't drag on for years like World Wars I and II. It would be short but the nations of the earth would be extremely frightened and ready to accept a deal such as we are discussing.

Scholars debate whether the Antichrist himself creates this treaty with Israel, or does he strengthen / confirm it after it gets violated? If the later that would imply that there are still two upcoming wars. Perhaps the first one would be smaller in scale but frightening enough for a Treaty to result. In this scenario, when that Treaty is subsequently violated and WWIII results that's when the Antichrist himself would have to step in and get personally involved. I lean towards this second view but wouldn't be dogmatic about it.

Could Prime Minister Netanyahu's Abraham Alliance be laying the groundwork for peace, safety, and 10 kings?? It's definitely worth considering and praying about!
